ABOUT
I am a licensed social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting children, adults, and families through life’s challenges. My professional background includes school and medical social work, adoption, and private practice, where I have worked with women experiencing postpartum depression and pregnancy loss, children who have experienced physical or sexual abuse, and families coping with chronic illness or cancer-related trauma, including bereavement counseling.

I opened my private practice in 2008. Since then, I have integrated mindfulness, yoga, hypnotherapy, and somatic approaches into my practice to help clients build resilience and navigate transitions. I hold a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a certified mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution, a Collaborative Law Fellow at the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, and trained in hypnotherapy by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. I am a certified yoga instructor and completed training in The Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method, which informs my integrative approach to therapy and somatic healing.
